Odoo Point of Sale Integration with epay

We are pleased to announce the completion of a new Methodoos integration connecting Odoo Point of Sale with epay POS terminals, offering a complete payment solution for businesses using Odoo in the Greek market.

The interconnection between POS terminals and the cash register or ERP system has become an essential part of the fiscal operation of businesses in Greece.

With the new Methodoos integration, the payment process is handled directly through Odoo Point of Sale, without requiring the cashier to manually enter the transaction amount on the POS terminal.

How It Works

When completing a sale in Odoo Point of Sale, the user selects epay as the payment method.

Odoo automatically sends the transaction amount and the required payment information to the epay POS terminal.

The customer completes the card payment and, once the transaction is processed, the result is automatically returned to Odoo.

The entire process takes place through one connected flow:

Odoo POS → epay POS → Payment → Transaction Confirmation → Odoo

This means that the POS terminal no longer operates as a standalone device, but as an integrated part of the transaction initiated and completed through Odoo.

Automatic Amount Transfer to the POS Terminal

The transaction amount is automatically transferred from Odoo Point of Sale to the epay POS terminal, eliminating the need for the cashier to enter the amount manually.

Automatic Odoo Update

Once the payment is completed, the transaction result is returned directly to Odoo and the payment status is updated automatically in Point of Sale.
